On April 22 2017, a march is organised across the world to put attention to the importance of science for society and for humanity.

March for Science is a non-political and non-religious manifestation for science¿s role in society. Gothenburg¿s March for Science is hosted and coordinated by the International Science Festival Gothenburg, where the University of Gothenburg is one of the principals. Parallel manifestations will take place all over the world, including Stockholm, where the organisation Vetenskap & Allmänhet (Public & Science) is coordinator and host.
